BOCA INSTITUTE for DENTAL EDUCATION is a provider of Continuing Education Courses for the motivated dental professionals looking to improve their delivery of care. More than a supplier of CE credits, we are dedicated to the personal and professional growth of our students.
Nowadays there are a great number of courses, seminars, workshops, and webinars on all topics of dentistry. The majority are on implants and cosmetic dentistry.
We are different:
We believe that you, the wet-fingered dentist, have to be well rounded in certain fundamentals of the daily practice first. Only after that, the special topics such as implants and esthetics can be applied successfully in your practice.
In our experience, the fundamentals are:
- Examination, treatment planning and communication with the patient

The hot topics of implants, cosmetic dentistry or complete rehabilitation will come naturally after mastering the fundamentals.
A specially hot topic is now digital dentistry. We believe that sooner or later all dentistry will be digital. We believe that we have to embrace digital dentistry now, learn to love it, and grow with it.
We offer a lot of digital dentistry topics because this is where we can make a difference. In particular 3D digital dentistry should be emphasized. In our profession, we live through the change from analog to digital. Those who don’t want to share the fate of Kodak should start to adapt to this change it is not a fad, it is a trend.

The Facilities
Our courses are offered at the landmark Boca Raton Resort and Club, in Boca Raton, Florida. A second venue is our newly built state of the art office that doubles as a teaching center. Operable partition walls allow three rooms to open and create a larger one, including a fully equipped operatory; classes may seat up to 16 participants.
The Facilities
Boca Institute for Dental Education is the brainchild of Dr. Michael Radu. His diverse practicing and teaching experience spans more than three decades and three countries. He lectures nationally and internationally on aesthetic and reconstructive dentistry, with emphasis on occlusion, cosmetics, implants and the temporomandibular joint. He is especially interested in the digital workflow and the general trend of all-digital dentistry.
The emphasis of his presentations is on practical applications of the scientific principles in the areas of aesthetics, implants, occlusion and the temporomandibular joint.
He had the privilege of being a student of the founders of modern dentistry, and is now an instructor and mentor to a new generation of dentists
The instructor responsible for the surgical placement of dental implants is Dr. Irina Dragan. She is a periodontist with exceptional training and lecturing credentials. A full time faculty at Tufts School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Dragan finds time to lecture and do research on implant fundamentals, regenerative technologies and implant surgery.
The instructor responsible for the digital intra-oral scanning and digital design of restorations and surgical guides is Dr. Daniel Radu. He is a recent graduate of Tufts School of Dental Medicine and has a keen interest in all-digital like father, like son.
